It turns out golf isn’t only for the rich old men — more people are golfing than ever before — and it’s easy to understand why. Aside from the fact that golfers live longer, it is also a terrific way to get some fresh air, meet new people, and exercise—walking a nine-hole round can burn as much as anywhere from 600-1,500 calories. These days, golf shirts have to withstand hot and cold weather conditions and sweat and breathability while also staying comfortable. The best golf polo shirts under $50 also ensure that your swings are unrestrained and unhindered, not to mention that they look nice both on the course and when you walk into the club restaurant or bar.
Recognizing all of this, I’ve compiled a list of some of the top golf shirts under $50 on the market. These are polo shirts that will make you feel and look fantastic on the fairways, allowing you to concentrate on your game and play at your best.
The Best Golf Shirts for Every Skill Level Under $50
1. A fashionable and practical option for men: Three Sixty Six Collarless Golf Shirts
Even if you own many golf shirts, these Three Sixty Six Collarless golf shirts for men will fill a gap between the t-shirts you wear when relaxing and the pullover you wear when you’re not — and without a double collar to interfere with your swing why. The fit is terrific, and the quality is excellent for golf shirts for men under $50. It is hard to find these types of collarless golf shirts, and the other shirts like this that I found is the collarless golf shirt made by Nike and Under Armour which costs at least twice as much.
The sporty cut is both fashionable and practical. Because there is no collar to curl, it appears more professional than a t-shirt and is more comfortable than collared shirts. The style is reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s, but with more comfortable and breathable, and dries quickly modern materials.
What I like:
- Great fit and nice colors
- Keep your way more relaxed and comfortable
- Come in different fits and colors
What I don’t Like:
- Run small and super tight.
2. Simple, classy design: Under Armour Men’s Performance 2.0 Golf Polo
Fashion meets function with this Under Armour Men’s Performance 2.0 Golf Polo. Fit is spot on and very comfortable, plus they look classy on and off the course makes them a keeper. The Golf Polo is long enough to tuck in on the golf course, but not so long that it looks out of place untucked when worn off the course. The Polo’s cut is excellent. The way the collar fits and the placement of the second button are simply appealing and make you look like a handsome golfer.
This Polo has a slim fit, yet it’s not too tight or overly thin. It’s made of stretchy material that really moves and breathes well with your body, keeping you dry and comfortable throughout the day. It also doesn’t smell awful at the end of the day, proving that the anti-odor technology works. Needless to say, Under Armour is known for producing high-quality yet inexpensive clothing, and this Polo is no different.
What I like:
- Lightweight fits well
- Lovely, soft, and relaxed material
- Good business-casual work shirt
- Available in different fits and colors
What I don’t Like:
- I didn’t like the collar curls up.
3. Best polo-style golf shirt: EAGEGOF Regular Fit Men’s Shirt
EAGEGOF blends fit, form, and function in these men’s golf polo shirts. These polos are an ultra-sharp and versatile addition to any sportswear collection. You can be confident that perspiration will be drained away from your body, and the fabric will be flexible enough to accommodate any movements. The shirt is of excellent quality, and it doesn’t look like the company cut any corners.
It’s great to see some fresh colors and a polo-style golf shirt. The fabric is light, stretchy, and simple to clean; it comes out of the dryer wrinkle-free, and the collars keep their form. Though I liked the UA Playoff Polo Version, these are cheaper, twice as good, last longer, and feel better on the skin. A golf enthusiast on a budget or anyone who just doesn’t care about the brand names should really buy a few of these.
What I like:
- Looks more expensive
- Great golf and casual shirt
- Not binding at all during golf swings
- Available in a variety of fits and vibrant colors
4. Adidas Men’s Golf Performance Polo
Adidas might be best known for their apparel, footwear, and accessories, but their golf shirts are great as well, thanks to the brand’s Men’s Golf Performance Polo. The polyester material has moisture-wicking characteristics that effectively wicks perspiration, blocks UV rays, and though it thin, they don’t get drenched in sweat. This polo shirt has edge-stitched seams for durability, and the flexible fabric allows for a complete range of motion with every swing.
If you’re picker when it comes to how your shirts fit or you like to get your polo shirts tailored. This shirt fits perfectly. It’s tapered well; no tailoring is needed, so it’s more form-fitting. Adidas Men’s Golf Polo is relatively tame in appearance, which is excellent for someone with a low-key personal style. It comes in various colors, and you’ll definitely want one in pretty much every color now.
What I like:
- Fit excellent
- Good quality
- Hold up after washing
- Mobility in swinging
5. TAPULCO Mens Casual Athletic Stretch Golf Polo T-Shirts
If you prefer long sleeves or are golfing in chillier weather, we recommend TAPULCO’s long sleeve dry-fit performance casual athletic stretch golf t-shirts. Love the general style of the shirt and the colors since it creates a modern look that looks good on virtually everybody. The fabric is silky and wrinkle-free, and it has excellent moisture-wicking properties. It also appears to be effective at reducing sun damage to arms and other exposed areas.
The fabric is quite comfy and stretchy enough to allow for your swing. This shirt fits perfectly but not tight. It hugs the chest, shoulders, and arms while being extremely comfortable. My only complaint is that the collar is far too lightweight and needs to be considerably stiffer.
What I like:
- Great quality and price
- Nice and thin fabric
- Suitable for lounging around.
- Fits perfect and is stretchy
What I don’t Like:
- Runs a bit on the small size
- A bit thinner and lankier
