It’s that time of year again to test the Top 3 Men’s Golf Drivers. Looking for the perfect golf Christmas gift, now’s the time to order one of these amazing drivers. At the end of the day it’s getting really hard to tell them apart in terms of performance as they all performed pretty much the same.
It will ultimately come down to feel at address and at impact.
How we tested Golf Drivers for Men?
In order to test these foremost Golf drivers for men’s, we decided to compare the three best drivers in terms of accuracy, speed, launch angle, and much more.
We have checked the performance of all three at roughly 100 MPH swing speed.
We have mentioned three golf drivers with different ball speeds and carry distances depending upon their performance on a golf course.
We have also keep a close check on other specifications and adjustability factors. These models differ from the previous models in terms of not only shape & design but also in terms of performance. So in order to find out the difference scroll down to the review section!
1.   Callaway Epic Speed
Price: $ 529.99
Specifications
Ball speed: 148 mph
Club head speed: 99 mph
Launch Angle: 15.6°
Peak Height: 111 feet
Spin: 2237 rpm
Carry Distance: 254 yards
First, in the list, we have Callaway Epic speed that comes with Jailbreak that consists of two bars that are present right behind the face. These bars make the face rigid and allow more ball speed. This jailbreak A.I technology is actually meant to make this men’s golf driver way faster with this altered new speed frame. It has a very classic black sleek head with a tint of green. Callaway Epic speed is way more consistent and accurate than the previous men’s golf drivers in this range.Â
What we like:
- Callaway Epic speed has a very solid feel and is perfect for on-center strikes.
- Accuracy and distance have been improved as compared to the previous Callaway models.
- Extremely forgiving and long; it offers a noticeably straight strike.Â
What we don’t like:
- Most of the golfers found out that accuracy is sacrificed for distance with this model.
2. Ping G425 Max
Price: $549.99
Specifications
Ball speed: 148 mph
Club head speed: 101 mph
Launch Angle: 14.8°
Peak Height: 108 feet
Spin: 2566 rpm
Carry Distance: 247 yards
This is my personal favorite. It has a solid feel and a nice sound to it. I felt I could hit this one lower and control the shape of the shot better. Ping G425 Max is a very classic choice due to its modern design and sleek black finish. There aren’t many massive changes but its refined sleek design makes it stands out among the previously introduced Ping models.
Ping G425 has distinctive turbulators on the top that work with aerodynamics which provide major help during swings. I found it definitely helps with the alignment of the golf ball and supposedly makes the swing faster.
The crown weight is reduced as compared to previous Ping models. And just like other top golf drivers for men, Ping G425 has an adjustable weight at the back.
What we like:
- Ping G425 Max offers an excellent feel, balance, and adjustability.
- It looks the most natural at address for me.
- It is a more forgiving men’s golf driver as compared to previous models.
- Straighter, accurate, and offer minor gain in distance as well.
What we don’t like:
- Some golfers found it slightly shorter as compared to other men’s golf drivers. I didn’t experience that.
3. Titleist TSi2
Price: $549.00
Specifications
Ball speed: 149 mph
Club head speed: 101 mph
Launch Angle: 15.3°
Peak Height: 108 feet
Spin: 2143 rpm
Carry Distance: 254 yards
Titleist TSi2 has a very sleek club head that offers better aerodynamics and a very different face that increases the ball speed as compare to previous models. This model is made up of aerospace-grade material that has various adjustability options for golfers.
This golf driver for men also has neck adjustability with 16 options, which makes it different from other golf drivers.
Titleist has a very minimalistic design that goes very well with this modern world. Titleist TSi2 is a very professionally looking driver with its sleek design and driving range.
What we like:
- This driver is really solid and has a very good feel & sound.
- Has a longer carry distance as compared to TS2.
- It’s lower spin rate will help you get some extra roll.
What we don’t like:
- We couldn’t get comfortable with it at address probably because it just looked bigger.
Final Verdict
All three of these men’s drivers are amazing and forgiving. We liked hitting all of them but because we play with a Ping G410 we probably liked the Ping G425 best. We play with a lot of golfers with similar swing speeds and they love the Titleist drivers and the Calloways so it is really a matter of preference.
